i am wondering if anyone has a chart of something about our past
the "Neil's" it's been said that we are the same as the McNeil's and
i am just curious about my past my great aunt told me about an ancestor that
was in the battle with braveheart and we were given a piece of land from the
king in out curage or somthing to the family. I am very curious i've always
wanted to know about my heritage. I know am getting closer i don't know how

Just to say "hi" really. Not often you see too many
McNeils anywhere - I think most of them shot off to the US and Canada way back

I grew up in Hull, Mass!! My father is Donald McNeil. His father
was also a Donald McNeil of Hingham, Mass (he played the trumphet). His father
was Andrew McNeil of Hingham. His father was Paul McNeil of Hingham (civil War
Soldier. Paul emigrated with his father, Murdock McNeil, Isle of Barra
Scotland, to Cape Breton around 1840. From Cape Breton, the family settled into
Hingham. I like to sing ;-) I have lived in Northern California for 15 years. I
miss the sea!!! Chris, so cool, you have the McNeil eyes and nose ;-) Good to
